That looks like last years Blizzard Rustler 10 and changes in construction were made. Personally loved the one in the video ,this years seemed a lot stiffer and less playful.

I knew that most of the Curated Experts have been riding Pdorigy 3.0 and K2 Poacher on daily bases and based on personal preference, these one I trust.

By the way to be clear, I watched almost all reviews avout skies by Curated within 2022 and 2023 years recently to buy a new pair of skies. I came down to a conclusion that I should buy Prodigy 3.0 as to what experts said in the multiple reviews. I have been riding them for around 40 days now, and can confirm it was a right choice. However still want to buy K2 poachers but can not find 184 cm locally...

how do you chose height of ski in all-mountain style?

Would you rank the Rustler 9 and Line Blade Optic 96 in the same order as their bigger brothers here? Would the LBO96 be better all mountain than Rustler 9?

    • @haydenwright9361
      @haydenwright9361 Год назад +1

Personally @brian I would choose the LBO96 over the Rustler 9. It compliments my riding style better than the Rustler 9. That being said I am a HUGE fan of the Blizzard Rustler 10! Ski caught me by surprise.

Great feedback. My style is a little more laid back, groomers with some time in trees/bumps so that’s why I’m thinking LBO 96 or Rustler 9 (tried the 10 but too wide for me right now). Guessing for me both would be somewhat comparable, maybe Rustler 9 is stiffer?

@@brianblandford9089 Lots of Love for Haydo... but I prefer the Rustler 9 to the LBO 96... especially if a fair amount of your skiing is going to be on the East Coast.

I don't get it why there is no K2 Poacher, Armada Arv96 / 106, Faction Prodigy 3.0, Volkl Revolt 104. These are great all mountain skies to do it all and pro riders also ride them in freeride, back country freestyle and just for fun. Never seen good riders riding these skies from Curated Top 5 list 2023.

I like most of the content you produce but don't be afraid to tell the truth or criticise skies. All skies can not be great, and you are too soft in talking about cons of different skies.

As one of the reviewers there are a lot of factors that go into what skis we get to test. Also I think we do a good job about giving both pros and cons on the gear. I like the constructive criticism though the more the viewers let us know the better the videos will get.

Also I never seen Curated experts riding on these skies apart from this test for their own joy... Very strange top, I would not trust it.

There are so many skis out there and there's also the fact that what a pro might enjoy is not what most of the average skiers might enjoy.
Only been skiing for 5yr now and skis I first loved have fallen out of favor for others. Preferences change as your skills, style, technique changes.
At the shop I work at some the most best selling skis are our least favorite, and sometimes our favorites we just can't seem to convince people to buy. 🤷 Skis are a very personal tool.

I don't trust these guys, they push non-popular items from shops in these videos to help get rid of unwanted inventory.

Is there a particular brand/ski you think is missing? There's an argument to be made that these are quite expensive skis, especially DPS. But not everyone will pay for that premium, hence the lack of popularity

@@TheJoeyStaunton Shops can’t keep QST in stock and I don’t see that in the list. I follow these guys and they do help push overstock inventory sometime.

Thank you for your messages! Last spring, we asked all brands to send us whatever skis they would want a video review of, and we reviewed all skis that were sent to us. This ends up being a pretty large majority of brands and models available. Do you have any specific skis you would like to see reviews for in the future? Thank you!

You're kidding if you think the Rustler, M-Free, and Kore are unpopular skis

Honestly it's hard to find a bad ski. Many times it boils down to proximity and price.
